Do you have any case studies available so I can see how the service works?

    Absolutely! Here's four for starters...

Providing Martin confidential tailored support. For the past four years, Martin had been suffering from anxiety, which was worsening and significantly impacting his daily functioning and causing him distress. He was also experiencing panic attacks due to his stressful job. After meeting with Best Doctors team, he was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) with significant genealised anxiety and longstanding social anxiety. The psychiatrist recommended he engage with a clinical psychologist for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He also started seeing a GP who had an interest in mental health. Martin was grateful to have accessed Best Doctors and believes he would have failed discussing his mental health with his GP if he didn’t meet with them prior.

Helping Jack get his life back on track: Jack suffered from anxiety and depression for 20 years, but was never formally assessed or diagnosed. His symptoms caused issues at work. Best Doctors were able to help Jack by providing an in depth mental health assessment and diagnosis. They recommended Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), including mindfulness practice. Since using Mental Health Navigator and connecting with a mental health specialist, Jack is back working full time and functioning well at both work and home and he's off performance management.

Reviewing Nadia's chronic fatigue syndrome diagnosis: For the past two years Nadia has been experiencing low moods, lack of energy, poor sleep and had been ''getting little pleasure from anything''. Her GP was unable to provide a clear diagnosis and suggested Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) diagnosis. She underwent tests and treatment for CFS, but experienced no improvement in symptoms. Nadia continued to struggle with her symptoms which affected her productivity at work and resulted in her taking time off work. She contacted Best Doctors who reviewed her diagnosis - they believed it was likely due to a combination of depression and anxiety. She was referred to Mental Health Navigator and after a detailed tele-health assessment by a clinical psychologist and psychiatrist she had a new diagnosis of Major Depressive disorder with anxiety. Following the recommended treatment plan, Nadia's symptoms have greatly improved - she’s back at work full time in a new role she enjoys.

Supporting Will get back to work. Will was suffering from anxiety, low mood, and poor sleep, which he had been experiencing for about three months while trying to decide whether to accept a new role with another company. Will had engaged an EAP but found it frustrating and unhelpful. He reached out to Mental Health Navigator and discussed his mental health state, and how it began after he received an unexpected job offer which would involve relocating his family. After his assessment with a Clinical Psychologist, he was diagnosed with an Adjustment Disorder with mixed and depressed mood. He was recommended to engage in several sessions of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to target his mood and anxiety, psychoeducation, relaxation training and cognitive restructuring. Following his report of which he planned to share with his GP, he had not taken anymore days of work, and he had stated being more productive than he had been in a long time.
