Yes, I'm pleased to confirm that HIF has been Australia's only certified "noco2" carbon neutral health fund since 2010.
How we achieved our certification: In order to become a certified ‘NOCO2’ health fund, we commissioned the Carbon Reduction Institute (CRI) to review and analyse our business. They then calculated our carbon footprint (the amount of greenhouse gas we are responsible for emitting into the atmosphere). Following the review, CRI suggested ways we could reduce our carbon footprint, and we have offset all remaining emissions through the purchase of carbon abatement credits.
