HIF CEO and Chairman with Perth Wildcats Players

As the Perth Wildcats prepare to launch into their NBL26 campaign, HIF Health Insurance is proud to continue its support as the longest standing recognised partner in NBL history.

The Wildcats are set to take the court with renewed energy and purpose as one of Australia’s most iconic sporting teams.

HIF Chief Executive Officer Glenn Oellermann said, “We wish ‘the Cat’s’ every success this season. As a not-for-profit, Western Australian based Health Fund, we believe in the power of sport to inspire our local community. HIF is looking forward to celebrating inclusion and diversity via the NBL Pride Round as the official game-day partner and will, once again, provide give-aways to fans and our members. With our partnership extended to 15 years, we can’t wait to see the action the team delivers once again this year. Red Army, let’s go!”

“Having long-standing partners like HIF is huge for our club. Their support helps us do what we do on and off the court, and the fact we have the longest recognised partnership in the NBL says a lot about the strength of the relationship. To be around for most of the 17 years I've been at the club is amazing. I might have to keep playing just to make sure HIF don’t overtake me” - Perth Wildcats Captain Jesse Wagstaff

With Head Coach John Rillie signed through to 2028 and strong leadership under the new owner Mark Arena, the Wildcats are poised for another big year – backed by recent investment in a new high-performance facility and one of the most passionate fanbases in Australian sport.

The Wildcats have won 10 championship trophies under their belt – more than any other team in the league – along with 38 NBL finals appearances.

The club boasts over 10,000 members and enjoys regular game attendances of more than 11,000, along with a loyal army of 300,000+ followers across its social media channels.

The Wildcats will officially tip off their NBL26 campaign on 20 September 2025, where the club’s new identity and season ambitions will be on full display. To celebrate the new season, HIF is running an exclusive competition for its members to win a Gold Category double pass to the Wildcats first home game against the Tasmanian Jack Jumpers and a signed NBL26 Wildcats jersey featuring the club’s brand-new look.
