Can I claim for a CPAP machine?

Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy is a common treatment for obstructive sleep apnea. It includes a small machine that supplies a constant and steady air pressure through a hose and mask or nose piece. 

Who can claim for CPAP machines?

CPAP machines are included on our eligible Extras Covers within the Breathing Appliances benefits category. For full benefit limits and waiting periods, please visit our Extras Comparison Table.  

Please note that a benefit is only payable towards the CPAP machine itself (accessories like the mask and nose piece cannot be claimed from HIF). Benefits are not payable towards rental of CPAP machine.
