Can I claim for Hearing Aids?

Hearing aids are claimable on our eligible Extras covers. For full benefit limits, waiting period and policy limits, please visit our Hearing Aid Cover page. 

Important please note:

• A 12-month waiting period applies for hearing aids. 
• Replacement of Hearing Aids limited to One Service per person every 3 years from the last date of supply. The term “One Service” refers to the replacement of either one hearing aid or two hearing aids (for both ears)
• Benefits are not payable on repairs, batteries, or hearing tests.
• Pensioners who are eligible to claim a refund from the State Health Department must claim from that source first.
