Wisdom teeth removal refers to item numbers 323 and 322 and has a 12 month waiting period applied. These item numbers are surgical tooth extractions (carried out in the dentist’s chair or in hospital, depending on the complexity of the surgery) and are classed as a “Limited” service under the General Dental category. If you're planning on having your wisdom teeth removed the date of surgery will need to be scheduled for at least one year from your policy commencement day with HIF.
