Why is HIF updating their app?
HIF is moving onto the latest version of our HIF Member App. From 1 July 2024, the older version of the HIF App will no longer be supported.
Don’t forget, keeping your apps (and other software) up-to-date is an important part of safeguarding your personal information.
Do I have to update my HIF App?
The simple answer is yes. It’s important that you are on the latest version of the HIF App so that you can continue to enjoy the convenience of using your app to lodge claims, manage your membership, view your Extras limits and your claims history. From 1 July 2024, the older version of the HIF App will no longer be supported.
What version of the app should I be on now?
The version of the app you should now be on is version 4.2.0 or higher.
How do I know that I’m using the right version of the HIF app?
You can check the version number of the HIF App you are using by going into the app menu. The version number is on display at the bottom of the app menu.
How do I update the HIF app on my phone?
There are a couple of ways to update the HIF app, depending on your device. We suggest:
- Go to your app store, Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Search “HIF Member App”.
- Select “Update” to download the latest version of the HIF app.
What do I do if the app hasn’t updated?
If the app hasn’t updated as expected, uninstall the current version of the HIF App by removing the app in its entirety from your device. You can then download the latest version from your app store, Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
