Extras insurance is used to cover services out of hospital that are generally not provided under Medicare, such as chiropractic, complementary therapies, dental treatment, dietetics, optical, healthy lifestyle services, occupational therapy, osteopathy, pharmaceuticals, psychological consultations, physiotherapy, podiatry consultations and speech therapy.
