Absolutely! If you're admitted, treated and discharged on the same day, HIF will classify this as "Day Surgery" or a "Day facility" and a benefit can be claimed.
To obtain a medical estimate in advance, please ask your doctor or specialist to provide you with a list of the items you'll be billed for (including fees for each item), then complete our online rebate estimate form.
Alternatively, you are welcome to call us on 1300 13 40 60 and we can provide a benefit estimate over the phone.
