Can I claim for prescription swimming goggles under Optical Cover?

Absolutely! With HIF, you can claim 100% of the charge up to your annual limit on prescribed optical items you need, whether it’s swimming goggles, lenses, contact lenses, sunglasses, and frames (however we don’t cover non-prescription safety glasses, protective glasses, all tinting, coatings or grinding, sunglasses, cosmetic glasses or cosmetic contact lenses, or frames not purchased via a registered Australian optical provider).

And because we don't have 'participating provider' schemes you're free to purchase your optical items from any registered optometrist or optical provider in Australia.
